As this year marks the ISE 65th Anniversary and the IGDS 35th Anniversary, a Gala Dinner was held at Hotel ICON on 1 November. PolyU MILES Alumni Association (MILESAA) and The University of Warwick and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Manufacturing Alumni Association (IGDSAA) also jointly organised this spectacular event!

It was amazing day that IGDSAA members were jointly the Bossini. X IT Run 2025 which was held on at the natural treasure Shing Mun Reservoir. The members could stretch and exercise them body and also absorb the fresh air during the trial running. The challenge provides participants with a physical and mental sports experience.

IGDSAA annual dinner was held in SJ restaurant TSTE on 7 December 2024. We had more than 60 distinguish guest, alumni, professors and students to join the dinner. As usual, we had the lucky draw with the grand prizes and delicious red wine provided in the dinner. Hoping all participants have a pleasure dinner.

This museum is highlighting the core theme of “War of Resistance” and “Coastal Defence” in defending the nation. Multimedia elements, innovative presentation methods and a thematic approach are injected into the permanent exhibition and the historical trail of the museum to narrate the history of the War.
