Electricity and oil are two of the most important energy sources in Hong Kong. The former has always accounted for over 60% of total primary energy consumption per year while oil plays a dominant role in transportation. ExxonMobil, one of the largest energy firms in the world, is engaged in supplying power and oil products to the local market.

This presentation intends to give an overview of the global energy outlook and the critical role of technology played to meeting tomorrow's energy needs and to mitigate the growth of emissions associated with energy use. ExxonMobil's involvement in the power generation business in Hong Kong and the related environmental issues and measures to improve air quality will also be emphasized.

Two leading experts: (a) Mr. Richard Chu, Director, Business Strategy; and (b) Ms Rebecca Luk, Manager, Business Strategy and Regulatory of ExxonMobil Energy Limited to provide this talk.
